Duncan Student center

Located on the south west side of Notre Dame Stadium, the Duncan Student Center offers a variety of casual dining options perfect for a quick bite or coffee when you arrive to campus. Open on Fridays, it features fast casual spots like Chick-fil-A, Hagerty Family Café, and Modern Market.

Located in the heart of campus, the LaFortune Student Center— affectionately called “LaFun” — is one of Notre Dame’s most iconic gathering spots. Built in 1883, its historic charm and central location next to the Main Building, it is the perfect spot to stop by for a quick snack while you are exploring campus.

SOUTH DINING HALL

South Dining Hall, Notre Dame, IN 46556

South Dining Hall is one of two on campus dining halls. Known for its Gothic architecture reminiscent of a medieval Guild Hall and resemblance to Hogwarts, it is beloved by students and alumni alike. Referred to as ‘SDH’ by students, it is the heart of campus dining where generations have gathered for Sunday brunch, late-night ice cream, and everything in between.

Brothers’s Bar and Grill

A classic Midwestern sports bar right in Eddy Street Commons near Notre Dame. Expect a lively atmosphere with casual American eats like burgers, wings, and more. It's a popular spot for students and known for staying open late!

Lively Irish pub located in Eddy Street Commons, 10 minute walk from campus. O'Rourkes is known for its fun atmosphere, great pub food, and wide selection of beers and Irish whiskey. A perfect spot for a casual bite and drinks. Open late!

Eddy Street is located a short walking distance from campus, right off East Angela Blvd near the Notre Dame Ave entrance. You'll find a few bars and restaurants here if you are looking to a quick bite or Guinness, like Brother's and O'Rourke's. It's a perfect place to explore the night before or to spend some time between the ceremony and cocktail hour.

If you are looking for a casual bite to eat, Eddy Street has many fast casual options: Chipotle, Five Guys, Jimmy Johns, and more.

Nick’s Patio

Our go-to 24/7 restaurant, and a great brunch option! We've spent many weekend mornings (and more than a few late nights too!) digging into delicious plates of pancakes, eggs, bacon, and more at Nick's. Students and locals alike love Nick's, so you may have to wait for a table, but tables turn over quickly and the food is well worth the wait.

Finnies Next Door (a.k.a. “Newfs”) is our lively and a little over the top college bar — best known for the glowing Golden Dome that sits right at the center of the bar. It also happens to be where Jack first DJ’d back in our student days. If you’re up for late, late-night festivities after Friday’s events, this is the spot — complete with a DJ, dance floor, and a crowd that knows how to keep the celebration going well past midnight.
